Andy Partridge of the 80′s era band XTC, put out a download only album of songs inspired by the artwork of Richard Powers, titled ‘Powers’. Mostly spacy instrumentals.
Cool. I gave up that part of my blog a log time ago… I have many many many more to put of the list but, ehhh.
I know, it’s kind of a nebulous subject, but just had to send in a message since that’s such a specific inspiration – Andy Partridge’s web site includes a story on how he was inspired by Powers when he was a kid.
Anyone who is inspired by Powers has to be pretty interesting
